The position requires flexibility, as it involves a split-shift schedule available seven days a week. The morning shift runs from 7 am to 10 am, and the afternoon shift from 2 pm to 5 pm. This casual position guarantees a minimum of 20 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours during peak periods. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning tasks for kennels
  • Engage in husbandry and handling of animals
  • Monitor and report on the health of animals
  • Maintain and clean facilities
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Possess strong teamwork skills and maintain a positive and loyal attitude
  • Communicate effectively with clients
  • Have basic computer skills
  • Be available to work a minimum of four days per week, Monday to Sunday
  • Understand and prioritize adherence to policies and procedures
  • Responsible for feeding and medicating dogs and cats
  • Engage in activities such as exercising, bathing, and brushing dogs and cats
  • Comfortably handle multiple dogs and cats with varying sizes and temperaments.
