Presently, Dowsing Group invites applications for an Apprentice Heavy Diesel Mechanic with suitable experience at our Emu Plains Depot.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Unique and competitive position in the industry
  • Ability to work on a wide range of specialized equipment, distinguishing us from standard workshops
  • Reporting directly to the Senior Diesel Mechanic
  • Responsibilities include servicing, repairing, and maintaining diesel fleet vehicles, equipment, and machinery
  • A diverse range of equipment, including Slipform Pavers, Trucks, Tankers, Profilers, and Specialized Diamond Grinding Equipment
  • Work within a small team with extensive industry knowledge and a strong work ethic
  • A dynamic work environment where no two days are the same

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Possession of a current White Card
  • HR/HC qualifications are desirable
  • Current Driver’s License (C/HR)
  • Mandatory clearance of Drug and Alcohol (D&A) Screening

  • Consideration given to 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year apprentices in Heavy Diesel Mechanics
