We seek an SIEM specialist passionate about Cybersecurity, and eager to build a career in this dynamic space. With expertise in SIEM technologies, API, and server controls, you’ll bring a solid understanding of security logs ingestion and the Microsoft technology stack. With 2-3 years of Cybersecurity experience, exposure to technologies like Crowdstrike, Azure, and Sentinel is advantageous. Your proficiency in ITIL, troubleshooting, and a deep understanding of Security Orchestration and Automation will be invaluable to our team.

As a Platforms and Operations Cybersecurity Engineer, your core responsibilities include the management of system ingestion, maintenance, updates, and implementation of specific components. You play a vital role in ensuring the security and efficiency of our systems, contributing to the overall cybersecurity framework.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Secure log ingestion into SIEM for data source security
  • Management and aggregation of data workflows
  • Utilization of APIs for efficient log ingestion processes
  • Implementation of operational and technical security controls
  • Integration of cutting-edge security technologies

This is not an exhaustive list of duties. You will be expected to perform different tasks to meet the organization’s overall objectives.

  • Ability and willingness to be self-managing and proactive
  • Advanced understanding of tools, techniques, and procedures used by modern attackers, along with expertise in SIEM, SOAR, and monitoring technologies
  • Customer-centric approach, ensuring consistent service delivery
  • Knowledge of networks, firewalls, proxies’ concepts, and technologies
  • Proficiency in operating system command-line tools
  • Familiarity with system/server diagnostic tools and fault identification techniques
  • Understanding of systems engineering theories, concepts, and methods
  • Knowledge of organizational IT user security policies, including account creation, password rules, and access control
  • Familiarity with systems administration concepts
  • Highly desirable skills in Microsoft Sentinel
  • Knowledge of measures or indicators of system performance and availability
  • Familiarity with common threat intelligence frameworks and standards, such as MITRE ATT&CK, STIX/TAXII
