In this role, you will take on responsibilities for operational tasks, managing day-to-day desktop, server, network, and telephony administration within the IT Infrastructure environment. Operating within a shared services IT model, you will offer support to various internal end users, addressing hardware and application needs throughout the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd level Desktop & Infrastructure Support.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for all Service Desk inquiries.
  • Offer 2nd Level Desktop Standard Operating Environment (SOE) Support, including Build, Run, and Deploy activities.
  • Maintain and manage a knowledge base of information to assist in addressing recurring issues.

Experience Required:

  • Technical proficiency in infrastructure support, showcasing expertise in audio-visual solutions, Microsoft end-user technologies, operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and other network protocols.
  • Collaboration skills evident through working with technical peer groups regionally and globally, contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of end-user experiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer focus, demonstrated through effective communication with internal and external clients in both written and oral forms.
  • Collaborative approach, working with team members, colleagues, and business units to address and resolve issues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, capable of managing tasks within a changing environment and willing to work on shift and on-call beyond standard working hours.
  • ITIL experience or similar knowledge of incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Fundamental understanding of IT security principles.
  • Proven technical background and effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrated effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Stack, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
  • Experience in supporting and administrating the Office 365 global environment.

Desirable Skills

  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, encompassing TCP/IP and routing protocols.
  • Proficiency in automation through scripting languages, with a focus on PowerShell.
  • Exposure to cloud providers, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Office 365.
  • Competence in networking technologies, involving Cisco router/switch management and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with internet technologies, especially MS IIS, and expertise in firewall technologies.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Knowledge of storage technologies, including SAN, DAS, and RAID.
