A Community Coordinator is in charge of taking care of and overseeing residential or commercial properties and creating a sense of community among the people who live or work there.

The Property Community Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

Operations related:

  • Regularly check for safety and health issues and fix them.
  • Keep a list of things to do in the community and make sure they get done.
  • Write reports about how the community is doing.
  • Help run meetings about the services provided in the community.
  • Write official letters to service providers and others.
  • Be ready to manage emergencies and talk to clients if needed.
  • Check with service providers to see how well they’re doing.
  • Support staff to make sure the building is well taken care of.
  • Make sure any improvements to the building get done.
  • Find the best ways to work and make sure everything is done the same way.
  • Build good relationships with clients to give them great service.

Customers/ Residents/ Owners related

  • Talk to owners and customers through emails, texts, and calls to solve their problems. Also, inform community members when needed.
  • Help people who come to the office in person.
  • Know the laws and rules of the community and make sure everyone follows them.
  • Create guides for homeowners about fees, rules, and fines.
  • Suggest ways to make the community better and save money.
  • Keep residents informed about maintenance and any issues that might affect their homes or common areas.
  • Make sure the list of tenants is updated, and create electronic records.
  • Share information and notices on the community website.
  • Help plan and join in community events.
  • Get ready for and go to board meetings and yearly meetings.
  • Review and update announcements about community events.
  • Work with Customer Care and residents to access units for projects if needed.
  • Issue and keep track of access cards.
  • Keep records of who got important documents like the Community Handbook.
  • Work with security and handle violations and service requests.

Financial, Administration related and Other

  • Understand community standards and make sure documents are sent to the right departments.
  • Get financial statements from the Finance Department and check them with the Manager/Supervisor.
  • Keep records and suggest changes for the next budget.
  • Follow the rules for collecting fees from homeowners (if needed).
  • Call people who haven’t paid their fees at the right times of the year.
  • Keep all the forms needed for managing things efficiently.
  • Handle requests for ads and flyers in the community.
  • Help prepare for getting goods and services from suppliers.
  • Work with the Procurement Department to get the things you need and make sure payments are made.
  • Assist in making budgets for the department.
  • Help with insurance claims and getting money back from the Developer.
  • Keep track of property damage on the site.
  • Follow up on getting insurance money after work is done and make sure the money is used correctly.
  • Write down what’s discussed during meetings and help with reports for meetings.

  • Experience
    • 2-4 years working in a similar position in a UAE-registered company.
  • English literacy, and technical proficiency in software programs.
  • Communication skills
