Due to a retirement, we currently have an exceptional opportunity for a skilled and motivated Class 5 Truck Driver to become part of the Fulton Hogan Transport Team in Blenheim. Your contribution will play a vital role in upholding Fulton Hogan’s reputation for excellence. This position leverages your prior experience as a transport driver.

The responsibilities of the role include handling aggregates, loading and unloading materials, and transporting them to and from various work sites while ensuring the safe operation of the equipment. The focus of this operation is on customer satisfaction and building strong relationships. Flexibility is crucial as the role involves weekend and shift work. There may be occasions when the work takes you outside of Marlborough, particularly during the sealing season, where assignments are primarily in Nelson and may extend up to two months.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Possession of a Class 5 Driver Licence.
  • While not mandatory, WTR endorsements would be beneficial.
  • Previous experience in a construction environment is preferred, but a willingness to learn is also valued.
  • Familiarity with and adherence to New Zealand Transport Regulations.
  • Positive attitude towards the maintenance and care of machinery.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, with a solid safety record.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential qualities.
